Tobermory FAQ's
PARKING MAP Tobermory
The Municipality has a Paid Parking Program in effect in Tobermory and Lion's Head from May 15 to October 15 each year. The Municipality enforces its Parking By-law by issuing tickets to illegally parked vehicles for both on-street parking and in parking lots. Enforcement is required to maintain legal parking, regulate traffic movement, and ensure public safety.
Reserved Parking
Little Cove Parking Lot
Located at 237 Little Cove Road in Tobermory, the Little Cove Parking Lot requires online reservations between May 15 and October 15. Online reservations are available in 4 hour bookings for $20. You will also be required to display proof of a Parks Canada Discovery Pass or parking pass from another Parks Canada location from that day. If you do not yet have a Parks Canada Pass, you can purchase a day-use pass when booking parking online.
Lion's Head FAQ's
The Municipality of NBP will be introducing paid parking in Lion's Head in 2021.

Sauble Beach FAQ's
Sauble Beach Rules
The Sauble Beach By-Law regulates activities on the beach. The rules are:
No cooking or warming devices
No motorized vehicles (includes scooters, ebikes, atvs, cars, trucks, etc.)
No fires
No building of structures
No camping
No offering items for sale
No four sided tents and tents that you are unable to see through (sun canopies, three sided tents and open kitchen tents which you can see through are permitted)
No animals (dogs, horses, cats, etc.)
Service animals permitted (you must have the paperwork from an authorized health care provider identifying the animal as a service animal-please be prepared to show the paperwork to By-Law Officers)
No dogs between June 1 and Labour Day
No smoking or vaping
No alcohol
Put garbage in garbage cans
The Town does not have jurisdiction in water - these rules are not enforced in the water.
By-Law Enforcement Officers are on the Beach to enforce the by-laws.
Please approach an Officer with any questions you may have.

The sand beach south of Seventh Street N is owned by the Saugeen First Nations. The Town by-laws are not enforced on the portion of beach owned by Saugeen First Nations.

We have leased the Twining lot at Sauble Beach (beachfront sand to the north of the Welcome to Sauble sign). The lot will not be used for parking this year. All beach rules apply to this lot (see above-NOTE-no dogs permitted).
The Crowd Inn parking lot will not be used for parking. All beach rules apply to this lot (see above-NOTE-no dogs permitted).
