The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre features an extensive history of Bruce County and all it entails.  From storms creating shipwrecks to lighthouses and their keepers; there is no end to what you will see and learn when it comes to Marine Heritage.  We are also the proud new home of the Stokes Bay Lighthouse - which now overlooks Fairy Lake.  It served as a beacon on the shores of Lake Huron on the Bruce Peninsula for 107 years - until it was one of many chosen by the government to dismantle.

The BCM&CC also offers adult and children's programming - exhibits - a rich history of Bruce County and a wonderful gift shop. Our Archives and Reading Room is available for those looking to do family research or to learn more about the area and its incredible history!  One visit will have you buying a membership. Visit us on line at www.brucemuseum.ca to keep up with all of our events and happenings.
